ARGON 100

The ARGON 100 GSM Temperature Monitoring System fulfills the promise of being able to monitor temperature anywhere in the world with GMS coverage but at a low cost and with simple set up. It appeals to the individual and those with a crucial business requirement alike.

The ARGON 100 is a compact solution to monitor temperature over GSM. The ARGON 100 is perfect for a wide range of applications where the user requires up-to-date temperature information or notifications. The ARGON 100 will send SMS or Email notifications over the GSM network alerting you if the temperature goes outside the user-defined safe limits i.e. goes to hot or to cold. This device is simple and straight forward to setup via software or SMS configuration commands.

The user can request the current temperature by sending a text message to the device, shortly after you'll receive an SMS with the current temperature level. This unit is great solution for remote monitoring whether a single device or a virtual network of them.

 

EM01b

The EM01b is a powerful websensor for Server Rooms, Warehouses and is being used extensively in the HVVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) Industry.

The Websensor is an environmental monitoring device designed for remotely monitoring of temperature, light and humidity in datacentres, server rooms - or any space that relies upon a steady and predictable environment and has access to the internet. The Websensor series are sensors with built-in signal conditioning and a web address. Users are able to access the sensor directly via PC and remotely monitor the data which can be viewed at any time through a web-browser and receive alarms via text or email.

The Websensor EM01B connects directly to your Ethernet network via a 10/100 Mbps switch or hub port. It provides monitoring for temperature, illumination (light level) and relative humidity and is ideal for monitoring environmental conditions in server rooms and wiring closets. It is capable of measuring DC voltages, which allows you to check battery supply voltages of UPS units or renewable energy sources. The new thermistor interface allows you to interface external special use sensors, such as liquid temperature measurement and the new contact closure detection allows you to detect door open conditions (for security purposes) or configure equipment start-up and shut-down conditions.

Extend your reach with Siretta quality, low-loss RF cables

Acquiring RF signals in poor reception areas (2G/3G/4G), short range wireless communication (line of sight for 433 and 868 MHz) or WifI connection in large buildings will require high gain antennas placed as high as possible to get the best reception. Problem is that the longer the cable length is from the RF equipment to the antenna, the higher the losses and consequently poorer reception. RG174 and RG58 are standard cables that everyone use for RF work, however the losses per metre escalate rapidly the higher the frequency goes. Antennas with cable lengths of 10M, 15M or 20M will suffer considerable loss over the length. It means that a more powerful transmitter and /or a more sensitive receiver is required. This all comes at a price in one way or another. Better to not have the losses there in the first place. Standard RG58 cable has an approximate loss per metre of 1dB at 2.5GHz - Wifi and Euro 4G frequencies. Bear in mind that a loss of 3dB of signal is actually halving the signal strength it is easy to see why systems are not very sensitive if they have long and standard cables to the antenna. Now take the LLC200 low loss RG58 equivalent it has a solid copper core and 2 levels of shielding and special connectors to accommodate the cable. It has a 0.55dB loss per metre at the same 2.5GHz frequency. Bearing in mind the logarithmic nature of measuring in decibels the signal arriving at the end 20M of RG58 cable at 2.5GHz is about 0.07% of what went it to the cable. Alternatively, using the LLC200 cable the signal arriving at the end of the cable is around 12% of what went in. 0.07% versus 12% is a massive difference in signal strength. This is the case for Siretta\'s low loss cable range!
