Restriction of Hazardous Substances (ROHS)

The Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) came into force on 1st July 2006.

The standard products that Siretta supplies are RoHS compliant and are described as such in the part number or description of advice notes or invoices. Our sales people are instructed to ensure that they discuss with our customers, when quoting or supplying, as to the compliance, or not, of the products in discussion.

We can issue a RoHS Certificate of Compliance with any shipment, on request.

Waste and Electrical Equipment Directive (WEEE)

The WEEE directive compliments the RoHS directive by dealing with the return and disposal of end equipment at the end of its product life.

As Siretta antennas and RF cabling are a component part of a system and not usable by themselves, it is the responsibility of the supplier of the end equipment to ensure the correct disposal procedures are followed in line with the European Union WEEE regulations.

Registration Evaluation Authorisation (and restriction) of Chemicals (REACH)

The Registration Evaluation Authorisation (and restriction) of Chemicals regulations came into force on 1st June 2007.

The purpose of REACH is to ensure that the most frequently used substances (in use now and in the future) are registered with safety data.

Some substances of very high concern (SVHC) may also need specific authorisation to use.

Siretta do not supply components that have chemicals that exceed one tonne per year or that contain Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC)
