The Tango 11A is a compact, puck shaped antenna, tuned to the cellular quad band GSM and 3G operating frequencies. This puck antenna has a diameter of 80mm and height of 23mm, so it can fit comfortably on to most surfaces. Capable of mounting securely inside or outside, with its 22mm long screw thread and rubber seal gasket to reduce the risk of water ingress. Vandal prone environments demand tough equipment that will resist excessive force upon them. The Tango 11A is designed for just that so it is commonly used alongside a host of different GSM/3G indoor or outdoor applications including: car park metering, utilities metering, traffic monitoring and many other M2M applications that require data transfer over the GSM or 3G bandwidths.
The Tango 11A is tuned to quad band GSM/GPRS, & 3G/UMTS frequencies, making this antenna a very mainstream performer. Its wide operating frequency band allows for worldwide cellular applications over the quad band GSM/GPRS networks and also high data transfer rates via 3G/UMTS. The Tango 11A achieves a high peak gain of 3 dBi.
This 5M version has low loss cable fitted to reduce the attenuation and preserve the gain.
The Tango 11A family is generally supplied, as standard, with RG174 coaxial cable, terminated with an SMA male connector. Custom cable lengths and alternative connector types can be supplied for volume orders.
