The Echo 27 is a compact and active GPS embedded antenna, measuring at 15 x 15 x 6.5mm. This compact ceramic patch antenna is perfect for GPS applications designed to include embedded solutions that can still produce high levels of performance despite its small form factor. With its built in Low Noise Amplifier (LNA), this active GPS antenna produces a peak gain of 22dB that drives strong satellite signal reception and transmission strength as well as influencing a quick time to fix to the satellites. These two factors are vital for GPS systems to maintain live positional information, especially when the signal from the satellite is weak. Common applications include: vehicle/fleet/asset tracking, mobile applications and general position services.
The Echo 27 has a centre frequency of 1575.42MHz for GPS compatibility. The built in Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) produces a gain of 22dB, working on a current of 9mA @ 3.3V DC.
The Echo 27 is supplied as standard with 100mm 1.13mm Ø coaxial cable, terminated with an IPEX connector.
Custom cable lengths and alternative connector types can be supplied for volume orders.
