The Tango 17 is a solid built, ‘bell-shaped’ antenna, tuned to the cellular quad band GSM and 3G operating frequencies. The Tango 17 is made from very thick and hard ABS housing, designed to make this antenna virtually destruction proof. The Tango 17 can be mounted securely inside or outside, with its large M20 screw thread and rubber seal gasket. This all lends a hand into making the Tango 17 very well suited to the more demanding environments, such as harsh weather conditions or vandal prone areas. This is where the Tango 17 differentiates itself from the rest. Offering high antenna performance for GSM/3G applications such as; car park metering, utilities metering, traffic monitoring and many other M2M applications that require a tough and rugged solution.
The Tango 17 is tuned to quad band GSM/GPRS, & 3G/UMTS frequencies, making this antenna a very mainstream performer. Its wide operating frequency band allows for worldwide cellular applications over the quad band GSM/GPRS networks and also high data transfer rates via 3G/UMTS. The Tango 17 achieves a reasonably high peak gain of 2 dBi.
The Tango 17 is supplied, as standard, with 0.75 meters of RG174 coaxial cable, terminated with an SMA male connector. Custom cable lengths and alternative connector types can be supplied for volume orders.
